P4 takes place in the same universe as Persona 3, in a rural town named Inaba. Nameless protagonist gets named, Narukami Yuu, and moves to Inaba to stay with his police detective uncle Doujima Ryoutarou and six-year-old cousin Nanako. Shortly after he arrives, a series of mysterious murders start taking place during the fog after heavy rain; bodies are found hanging from television antennas. Rumors about the ‘Mayonaka TV’ program that airs at midnight begin to spread as well, it is said that one can see their ‘other self’ in the reflection of the TV screen. Nameless prot- err Yuu makes a troupe of new friends [that wear cool hipster glasses] and when they start looking into the rumors, they all get pulled into an alternate TV world where monsters called ‘Shadows’ exist…
